Barrington 4th of July Parade 2015 Essay Contest
Theme: ‘Barrington– Year 2165’
This year, in honor of Barrington’s 150th birthday, our parade theme is ‘Barrington Through The Decades’. In 1865 our village began as a small farming community, and throughout those 150 years has grown into the vibrant, bustling community it is today. What a difference 150 years can make!
For our essay contest this year, we asked participants to consider what the village of Barrington will look like 150 years from now– in the year 2165!
